4th Annual Tastes of Yaletown
October 14-26, 2008
Vancouver food and wine enthusiasts are invited to discover and enjoy the fantastic offerings of Yaletown’s premier restaurants during the 4th Annual Taste of Yaletown event happening October 14th – 26th, 2008.
The Taste of Yaletown includes over 20 of Yaletown’s fabulous restaurants offering special three-course tasting menus for set prices of $25, $35 and $45. A portion of proceeds raised from each participating restaurant will be donated to The Greater Vancouver Food Bank.
Vancouver Canucks 2008 Season
October 2008-May 2009
The Canucks kick-off another campaign this fall and pin their hopes on the backs of their newly named captain, and perennial all-star goaltender Roberto Luongo. The team has a fresh look year with the off-season departures of Markus Naslund and Brendan Morrison and retirement of fan favourite Trevor Linden.
